What the 1Kaya sportsbook offers
The sportsbook covers pre-match betting, placed before an event starts, and in-play betting, where odds move as the game unfolds. Football carries the most weight with Malaysian bettors, and it is where you will find the deepest range of markets.
Pre-match betting
Pre-match gives you time to compare markets: the match result, handicaps, over/under goals and correct score are the staples. Lines are set ahead of kick-off and can shift as team news breaks.
In-play betting
In-play markets reopen after every goal, card or change of momentum. Odds move quickly, so bets can be rejected or re-priced if the line changes as you submit.
Reading the odds
Asian sportsbooks commonly let you switch between odds formats. Decimal odds show your total return per ringgit staked (2.50 returns RM2.50 for RM1). Malay and Hong Kong odds show the profit instead, with Malay odds using negative numbers for favourites. Pick the format you are comfortable with in the sportsbook settings and stick with it.
Asian handicap
Asian handicap gives one team a head start of goals, including half and quarter goals, to remove the draw and even out lopsided matches. It is the most common football market in the region and worth learning before your first bet.

Betting sensibly
